Yes sir/maam I honestly believe they have improved my fish catching ability. I speak for myself. Great tool for finding and catching fish, even those hard to get suspended fish.
Why don’t you and I hit El Cap one day and check these things out?
I wish we did get a commision for selling fish finders. We sure sell alot of them, people are upgrading all the time. If we did get a commision it would be around 10 bucks or so.

My point is have our catch ratios improved as dramatically as as our money spent on the latest and greatest?
It still comes down to the art of finding and catching bass.Which can be done without all the lastest high priced(good commisions) gadgets.
Every year a new Dramatically Improved(must have)hits the floor and we are expected to support the Industry with our pocketbook.
So how much for the LCX37?? ( I gotta have it )

1bigbass, I’m not sure what you are saying here. I’m not trying to sell you anything. My point is that things get better and better every year. We have 50 cent hooks and 9.00 hooks. 200.00 fishfinders and 2500.00 fishfinders. All these things are made to improve our fish catching ability. Not sure about locating ability of the Papergraph. If you like the papergraph then by all means use it. I just used it as an example. Computer or typwriter….I say computer. Papergraph or LCD/HD I say LCD/HD. My opinion. But hey since you mentioned it, I do have a great deal on an LCX37.

This Genmar bankruptcy will actually make Irwin Jacobs money. He is known in the business world as someone who strategically enters bankruptcy and then sells assets that are valued individually greater than the company as a whole.

And who cares how much you make on boat sales when FLW is making 75 mil a year… or was… probably in the 35-40 range now

Does not a paper graph locate the fish and bait as well as an HD Unit? or are we all so caught up in the Newer is Better crap.So we cant go fish a team tournament uless we have the Latest and Best technology has to offer? Or is that just what the Salesmen want us to believe?

You’re correct. Not everyone can afford a high end Ranger, Champion, Nitro or Stratos, that’s why all the brands have boats in the 20K range. Not everyone can afford a Mercedes either. That’s life. Do folks still use a typewriter and a Paper Graph? Computers and an HD unit’s can cost a lot of cheese.
