Well, when selecting a lake for a bass tournament, (especially a championship event that puts the "nation's elite" in competition with each other) the expected quality of fishing ranks about #8 on scale of 1 to 10 in the many considerations that have to be made in the selection of the tournament site. Great fishing, or lousy fishing, the top guns usually prevail. While all relish the opportunity to catch a boatload of four-pounders or better, one should remember that the ultimate tournament would be all of the nation's top pros on a lake that only had one bass in it.
